Why Judy?
My work is rooted in youth advocacy, education, equity programming and social impact, having held professional leadership roles in schools, non-profits organizations, and in media. Building connections begins with “pulling up a chair” and a solid recognition that our stories matter: a launchpad for meaningful discussions as we journey toward cultural competency.
With more than 20 years experience in youth and adult leadership training, workshop facilitation, organizational cultural strategy development and supportive coaching, I continue to reimagine what the idea of “community” looks like and I continue to evolve practices that might help us create healthy and productive ones. I don’t have all of the answers, but I’ve gained lots of skills, courage, and wisdom working with individuals and collectives over the years. I bet we have lots to learn from one another, can strategize and imagine together, creating a partnership that brings out the best in all of us.
